  • While Reiki can benefit everyone, certain individuals may feel a greater initial impact.

    Individuals who may feel the biggest shift are those with past trauma, those for whom talk therapy has hit a plateau, highly-sensitive persons, anyone struggling with mental health disorders (anxiety, depression, etc.), those living with chronic stress/burnout, and/or people experiencing chronic pain/illness.

    Whether you have a specific intention in mind, just feel like you could use a tune-up, or are wanting to see what Reiki is all about, we will work together to tailor each session to your specific needs.

  • You can wear anything that you are comfortable in. My suggestion is loose fitting, comfy lounge wear.

    Ex: sweat pants, leggings, sweatshirt, t-shirt, etc.

  • A typical session will begin with us discussing your intention for the session, filling out any necessary forms, and answering any of your questions. We will then get you comfortable on the massage table, fully clothed. Peaceful music will help you relax as I begin calling in the healing Reiki Energy. This can be fully hands-off or involve lightly placing my hands on you if that is comfortable. As I work over your body we can talk through any emotions/imagery/etc. that comes up for either of us and use these cues to delve into deeper healing. After the session, we will take some time to talk through anything that came up, answer any questions, and ensure you’re feeling grounded before you head on your way.

  • Reiki is unique in that the energy is given through the practitioner, but the practitioner does not control where the energy goes. The Reiki energy goes to where the recipient needs it, and continues working even after the session ends.

    I use this powerful aspect of Reiki to channel the energy to do the needed healing, while using my intuitive gifts to help further break down any blockages and unlock deeper possible healing.
